Response to Living with the Bomb by Richard Rhodes
I think that nuclear weapons should never be used. The destruction and devastation they cause can never be outweighed by the benefits. There are people today in Japan still suffering the consequences of the bombs we dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I believe there are other ways of getting a country's message across rather then destroying one's country by killing thousands of innocent civilians. There is no excuse to attack the innocent and I believe that is unavoidable if one is using nuclear weapons to fight their war.

I have the same philosophy about the benefits of nuclear war NEVER being able to outweigh the destruction it is going to cause. Also, how the loss of innocent human life becomes inevitable with the usage of any nuclear weapon, being as there is no way to target a set group of individuals.
