Response to Some Convenient Truths by Gregg Easterbrook
I agree with Gregg Easterbrook. I think many people are being dramatic about global warming and that they are making a bigger deal out of it then they should. I feel like the goverment and many experts only talk about the negatives our environment is facing rather then also discussing the positives. I also think the experts offer solutions that people feel as though they cannot achieve because it is too much of a sacrifice. I believe there are simpler solutions and less scary scenarios but they are not getting out to the people.

Response # 4 to Go Back to Black
I can see why many blacks feels are they are all united. I agree with the author when they state at the end, that term African-American should be retired and they should just stick with blacks. Because of slavery, I think black people feel united in that way and many feel an automatic bond with another black person. I can see why the author wants to encourage this bond and togetherness more by eliminating the term African-American. No matter where you are as a black person, you might feel a bond, so to use African-American would not be right.
